Double chain with optional strap: The DFP-9315 has a strong, smooth double chain to handle even the heaviest playing situation. If you prefer the feel of a strap drive, there is a woven nylon strap included, the only tool you need to switch them is a drum key. The footboard height and beater angle are independently adjustable so that you can dial the pedal in to suit your playing style.
Ball bearing hinge: The hinge that connects the footboard and the heel plate is cast to tight tolerances and rotates on ball bearings eliminating any side-to-side movement. This keeps the footboard and drive mechanism in line for a smooth stroke that allows you to play with finesse and power.
Stronger beater hub: The beater hub is thicker so that it can handle the rigors of nightly club gigs, or a full-blown world tour. The beater hole was re-shaped to hold the shaft securely.
One-touch hoop clamp: The DFP-9315 clams to the bass drum hoop with a flip of a lever. The shape of the cam locks the toe clamp securely to the hoop, and the hoop clamp easily adjusts to fit any thickness hoop.
Protective bag: The DFP-9315 folds down and fits into a protective bag that will fit into your trap case for transport. This bag keeps your pedal clean and protects it from damage when you pack it away with your other hardware.
