The Laboratory offers a very flexible layaway program, as well as easy, interest-free financing. Here's the scoop: LayawaysLayaways are an easy way to stretch out the purchase of a product over time, without a credit check. You make an initial deposit to hold the item you want so no one else can buy it. Then you make payments until it's paid off after which you take it home. Here are the specifics of how our program works: - The deposit to hold the item(s) you want is 20% of the total including sales tax.
- The initial deposit is non-refundable. We're making the item unavailable for purchase by anyone else, and you're making a commitment to buy it.
- You can make payments of any amount and at any time you want.
- You have 90 days to finish paying off the layaway.
- If you do not pay off the balance in 90 days, The Laboratory can, at our sole discretion, cancel the layaway and retain any payments made, or charge a late fee of $10 per week until the balance is paid (including any late fees accrued).
- Layaways are usually not available on sale priced items, in combination with any discount coupons or offers, or in any other situation where the items are discounted below our normal prices.

A quick and easy credit application can be completed in minutes and a credit decision is made immediately. To apply, you must be 18 years old. If you have no credit history, your chances of being approved increase greatly if you have a co-signer complete the application with you. After you're approved you'll receive a credit card in the mail. You will receive bills from GE Capital - The Laboratory does not accept payments for your account.
